T.J. Conley is a respected leader in the areas of employment counseling and litigation; non-competes, confidentiality and trade secrets; and business disputes.  He has been practicing in these areas since 1993, both as a partner at the Minneapolis law firm of Leonard, Street and Deinard, and in his own practice.

T.J.’s clients trust him as both an adviser and as a courtroom advocate, and he has been chosen by his peers as a “Super Lawyer” several times.  He regularly teaches at both regional and national legal conferences.

In addition to representing employers and executives in a wide variety of human resource issues, T.J. specializes in drafting and litigating noncompetition agreements and similar restrictive covenants, and in handling claims alleging breach of the duty of loyalty, misappropriation of trade secrets, and similar business torts.
